Welcome to the THIRD annual "Acing out ALS"-2025

"It's going to be hard, but it will be awesome!", Steve Gleason

When I think of grit under adversity this quote comes to mind. Team Gleason has given hope and joy to many ALS patients and families, who knows what hard is.

It is in that spirit I wanted to do another fundraiser to honor Dr. Reza Beigi who lost his battle with the disease 2021. Reza was a dear friend of my dad. He was a true friend -honest and supportive. He was the friend, who you hadn't spoken to for months and then pick up phone and speak for hours. Reza sounded like a friend you wanted but rarely found.

Reza loved life and enjoyed a challenge. Whether it was him and my father running or competing in sports as children, or enjoying college, he was there to give his all. Although competitive he was also ready to give a hand to his opponent. He was always fair and honest. He was a renaissance man- excelling in many fields.

This fundraiser is me and my family's attempt to honor Dr. Beigi and help current patients struggling with this disease.

Donations for this fundraiser with help Team Gleason. This organization allows individuals with ALS experience life changing experiences with leading edge technology, equipment and services.

Acing out ALS will occur March 16, 2025 at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA (Thanks Coach Jen).

The 2025 team may be smaller than prior. However, we are confident we will still make a difference.

Help us to achieve our goal and support our efforts.

Thank you
