ALS-only three letters but it is much more. It is a disease that destroys friendships, marriages and families. I can not cure ALS, but I can bring awareness to it and to this great organization.

A disease's impact can be decreased two ways- medical research to cure/reduce symptoms or support during the disease. Team Gleason is the support that ALS patients need to continue enjoying life. As Steve Gleason states " Many ALS patients end up fading away quietly and dying. For me, this was not OK. I did not want to fade away quietly." I am proud that I am helping ALS patients not to fade away, but enjoy their remaining days laughing and shouting from the roof top.

I will use my tennis skills to win the most serve points and hopefully the most donations. Every dollar I raise will advance Team Gleason!
