The Garrelts Family is happy to announce the rebranding of their annual "Shooting for a Cure for ALS" to "Awareness Fore ALS!"
Steve's Story: Steve Garrelts, husband to Evelyn and father to Stephen, Gabriella, Marcus, and Vannessa was diagnosed with ALS in April of 2014. He fought long and hard for 6 years until he lost his battle to the horrific disease on March 24, 2020. This annual fundraiser is a way to not only bring awareness to what ALS is, but also an important way of keeping Steve's memory alive.
Garrelts and Sons Inc. has partnered with Team Gleason to raise awareness for ALS. This link is for all who cannot attend or would like to donate directly to Team Gleason!
Why Team Gleason?
Team Gleason helps raise money and provide direct support to individuals and families living with ALS. Team Gleason aims to empower individuals living with ALS by providing the innovative technology, equipment, and care services needed to continue living purposeful and productive lives. With the rebranding of the fundraiser, we continue to support Team Gleason because they aided in Steve Garrelts and his family's fight against ALS.
If you are unable to make a monetary donation, help us reach our goal by sharing on social media or sending an email/text to your family and friends who may be interested in contributing!
