Welcome, my name is Tyson Caines, I am 16 years old, and this will be the second annual Acing Out ALS event held on the 21st of May, 2023. This event will be held at Cape Henry Racquet club. The reason why I'm doing this fundraiser is to bring awareness to ALS. Also my Dad’s best friend Reza Beigi sadly passed away due to ALS in December of 2022. Reza was a brilliant educator, scientist, and so well loved by many people. To learn more about this disease, my family and I watched The Gleason Movie last year. This shocked me and made me realize how fortunate I am and how blessed I am. I am so fortunate being able to do this fundraiser again this year at the Cape Henry racquet club. Thanks to Coach Cummings, I am able to use his facility again. The Acing out ALS premise is simple. Two teams trying to get the most points by serving and hitting practice cones. My parents will donate $200.00 dollars to the team that generates the most points. Don’t feel left out…..You can also donate under the Team Gleason. All funds whether you give to me (the best choice), my brother or team members will go to Team Gleason. I am honored to have the ability to help other people with ALS. Please help me, my brother, tennis friends and Team Gleason make a difference.
